Do any of u know how to get the stink out of a stinky guitar case?

So i recently purchased an old 80's Charvel, and I love the guitar, but the case is rly stinks of sweat and beer. Do any of u know how to make it smell better? Should I just get an entirely new case? Cus i can't stand this stinky case that stinks up the guitar as well, and makeing playing very annoying. Ur help is greatly appreciated. Thx.

Pour ground coffee into the case and leave it in the closed case for 1 or 2 days. Don't use too much. A few spoons is enough. Then remove the coffee with a vacuum cleaner. Works for the inside
You can repeat with a guitar inside, if the guitar also stinks.

Really? You mean like pour coffee into the trem cavity or something?

Just how does the guitar get that stinky in the first place? Just clean the guitar and air out the case.

Cigarette smoke is usually the most noticeable odor inside stinky old guitar cases. I've had good results with Febreze, vacuuming and letting old cases sit outside on a sunny day.

Oh yes, I meant along with the coffee
The coffee works like active carbon (don't know if this is the correct translation) and absorbs the smell. I don't like that Febreze stuff.

+1 - go light on the Febreeze though - you can over do it and have a wall of bad perfume stench come at you every time you open the case.

I've done the Febreeze thing 3 times on the the case for my M2, and and it's still almost un-useable. May have to start drinking coffee....

Go to your local pet store and get some charcoal filters for fish tanks or cat litter boxes.
