Dots are too wide for a Japanese Jackson.
Looks like a Performer or JS based on the crappy JT-500 trem.

It is a Performer PS1. At least according to the details on the headstock and truss rod cover. But it's the pickup/pickguard issue that brings it into question. No place of manafacture to be seen.Comment

From 1995 to 1997, the PS-1 had a v-trem and a 24 fret neck, not a Floyd. In 1998 it went to a 22 fret neck, but still had the v-trem. It was discontinued in 2000.
Does the neck have a lock nut on it? If so, this may be a parts mutt with a PS-1 truss rod cover.
Also, does it have the word "Performer" written after the Jackson logo.

Yeah it has performer on there. Locking nut there too. If I'm honest, I'm not bothered if it's made up from parts. It plays great and that's all that matters. I'd just seen a few threads on here querying PS1s and they all seem to have different answers! All the electronics seem to be stock, there's no evidence of anything being modded. Unless its all a really good job.Comment
