Y'know the idea just came into my head. I'm thinking about finding a really beat up Model six (87 or later for the sharkfins), and then sanding it down.....cutting off the wings and get the the correct measurements of the Rhoads wings and glueing them on........a 24 fret neckthru Rhoads..and the scale is already correct!

I'll take that one further....I'm about to take a model 5, and redo the headstock as a strathead...I'll have a 24 fret neck-thru strathead! Actually I'm in the middle of the process now, but so far it's looking good. So I say go for the Rhoads transition! [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]
