Hello folks!
I'm new to this forum but feel like the prodigal son returning to my Charvel roots!
For the last 20 years I have played Ibanez RG 550's but last week was given by a friend for Christmas an old Charvel Model 2.
I owned one of these back in the very early 80's and loved it! I spent many hours a day on that guitar. At some point in the mid 80's I was torn between an RG or script logo Charvel and literally flipped a coin and bought the RG that day. I stayed with Ibanez until this week.
Oddly enough even after more than 20 years this guitar still feels like home to the point where I'm switching back to Charvels and shelving the RGs. So I just wanted to share this story with you guys and check out your great forum. I have been poking around looking at all the killer info on here!
