I know there are those of you who have the JCF set as your browser homepage. I'm looking into the idea of providing an ideal page for those of you who have done this and maybe get others to also do this.

So what do you want to see when you open the browser?

Word news

Actually I like having the main forum listing as the home page. That way I get a quick glimpse of recent posts in each section, as well as the New post icon in sections that have New posts/replies.

Is there any way for individual users to arrange the sections according to their preference? Say I want the sections I frequent the most on the top 5, and the others below that, but someone else wants a different sorting? Can it be done and stored in our cookies?

I'm really digging the ideas of gallery submissions and music news. Then we would have even more stuff to talk about. I really hope recent posts stays because I really find that useful. Weather might be tough to pull off (I guess it would be okay if it was outsourced and you just fill in the name of your city/town). Youtube videos could be neat though choosing what to go up might be tough. The links could be okay and we could point people looking for info towards them instead of filling the forums with threads looking for info that has been answered/shared countless times.

It should be good no matter what. Keep up the good work Jeremy.

I checked other, it would be cool for the occasional joke\cartoon on a homepage(hell sometimes they could even be member submitted... It's just a thought).

Having the ability to include or exclude everything on that list as part of our user preferences would be great.

The first thing I do when I come to this site I click on new posts.

I wouldn't set it as my home page, but it would be nice if it showed all of the new posts on the main page. I'm not interested in news or any of that stuff. I go to other websites for that.

Has anyone ever thought to have a dedicated review section for guitars or albums or anything else under the sun? It could just be a new topic area. Have a section for J/C guitars, one for other brands, one for albums/DVDs and one for "other" (Whatever you happen to want to review, whether it be a car or computer or even that fancy new fridge.). I think it would be a good way to find out about things you may be interested in and you would be getting opinions from people you have talked to enough so that you know how, if it is, biased the review is. I would much rather find out about something from you guys than someone I've never heard of that doesn't have much experience or I don't know at all. What do you guys think?
