when can we expect this to hit the stores? does anyone have any info on pre-ordering
The two AS models are going to be released at NAMM in mid January, so if they have stock ready to go and stores order them, I'd have thought that they should be in the stores in early mid Febuary...
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get
I am liking the look of the maple fretboard one. I am liking it a lot!
I'm interested to know which version will be more popular actually. I like the one with maple, but I'd like to know what the general opinion is.
I'd love a Fender strat based on Davey's '57 strat with the cream DiMarzios. That would be
Edit: Just a few minutes after I posted that, I see a thread saying that Fender are bringing that out as a Dave Murray sig model. I think this calls for a woop woop!

There's a thread about a new Davey sig strat in here somewhere, take a look.
this is the one from somewhere on tour/7th tour; notice the pickup configuration, like on davey's strat...
Man thanks for posting those pics! I really dig the fat huge Jackson logo on those guitars- I haven't seen the Jackson logo that big before. But it looks great!
Sorry to be such a Scrooge, but Bah Humbug. This just seems to be a normal Fender strat but with a Floyd and Jackson on the headstock. It doesn't even have sharkfin inlays.
I just don't see the big fuss about these. Adrian's played plenty nice guitars over the years - his Lado for example. This is just a strat. It doesn't have a fancy finish, it's not neck-thru, it hasn't got 24 frets - does anyone know what pickups are in it?
I'll never be able to afford it, but even if I could I wouldn't be interested. If I was going to buy a "super Strat" like this, I'd want it to have 24 frets, neck through construction and probably a nicer finish. Otherwise I'd just buy a normal Fender strat.
Man thats a pretty penny but I'd image Adrian is making a little bit on the deal.
I'm wondering what the cut is on an endorsement deal on a signature guitar?

I'm not sure about the single coils, but I'm pretty sure the bridge pickup is a Dimarzio Super Distortion.
