i just got a call from a sam ash who'd just gotten off the line with fender, and the jackson is listing at $2799, and they say minimum advertised price is going to be $1999, and the final selling price is going to be probably closer to the list than for the advertised; 20% down, and you 'might' get it by may.

don't pay a penny over 1100 for anything with a rosewood fretboard.

i can only imagine that your timeframe over there is going to be pushed back from the factory. your best bet might be ebay in november.

Well as far as I know, FMIC doesn't just send stuff out randomly, so the dealer would have to order it. I assume something like GC or Sam Ash would have a central ordering facility, so maybe product would arrive there 'randomly', but I doubt it...

PC1s don't list for 2300. List on a PC1 is $3199.

$2399 is the MAP (minimum advertised price), and discounted price will be 'something' below that.

I imagine it's on a case by case basis. I would expect that EVH would get a lot more than the bassplayer from Hatebreed....

Thats a good point; at any rate it sure would be nice to have them building guitars for you and not paying for them.
