I got it from a store in Germany. It was used at NAMM and at the Musicmesse show, and then sat unsold for a while, so I got it for a 'bargain' price....

I bet, I know I saw the original pic you posted and you asked what makes it a skate I am assuming the checker board, it reminds me of those old converse shoes that old skateboarders used
