  • Warrior comfortability?

I am really liking the Warrior look and was curious of the comfortability and balance of the guitar? I have never actually sat and played one any input would be cool

The Warrior is extremely comfortable sitting. For standing, I thought it was a little weird, as it seemed I was reaching more towards the left compared to other guitars, almost like a bass. This was on the couple neck-thru models I played. On the bolt-on Warrior MG I used to own, it felt fine.

What guitars are you used to?

Indeed, when playing standing up the neck and bridge of a Warrior are more to the left compared to a V shape or strat, and pretty much in line with a Kelly/Explorer. They balance great and are very comfortable sitting... due to the shape you can place a Warrior either on the right leg or in classical position, both works well.

Comfort is subjective, but I find them to be well balanced. Standing up, I like to sometimes prop it up on my leg with the lower rear horn for the ultimate high fret access. When I switch to playing a Kelly, I'm like "egad! where's my horn thingy?!?"

All the guitars I own are either v's or Strat shapes..I do sit in the classical position 99% of the time. That was the reason I ditched a Kelly..I love Kelly's just could not hold it right...lol

Yep. My old Kelly played fine that way, too. I was never comfortable playing on my right leg, so it's the classical position for everything.

I guess I am kinda weird..I play with the neck almost straight up in the air when I sit. Kelly slid around to much...I love Kelly's I found one that I would die for..and I may buy it, and figure something out when sitting...

Use a strap also when sitting. Problem solved.
