  • Real Soloist or fake help asap!

I have a line on a Jackson "Soloist" or so it says for under $200? It has a triangle headstock and 3 + 3 tuners. Looks like tune-o-matic body through bridge and flame sunburst type finish. I don't know much else about it, but it might have seymour duncan pickups I can't tell from the pics. What's the value on this and is it a real soloist? I can pick it up for really cheap! There's no shark fin inlays they are just dots.

is that a legit Jackson neck? I dont remember the bottom tuners being so close to one another on a 3+3 headstock.

The SLS body design and headstock were created nearly 4 years before the DX6.
The SLS model was introduced in 97.
The AT, TH and SS models all used the 3+3 headstock.

The original headstock design was a 4+2, but EB got a little pissed about that so Jackson changed it to a 3+3.
