My Burton tele has the paisley flames paintjob, but that is the ultimate. Very jealous.

I saw a close custom shop version on the DCGL site recently I think.

          I rotate between three #1's I think.

My tele for country stuff and when I'm fiddling around on some Malmsteen licks for that single coil sound.

My KV2 I got last year because I always wanted a Jackson V since I was a kid and it is flat out amazing.

My old Washburn A20V that is black with red pinstriped binding all around that I got in 1984 when I was just starting on guitar, because it has what has to be the grandaddy of all speed necks, pops harmonics anywhere on the neck and it has the greatest metal rythm tone I've ever gotten out of a guitar when run through my boss HM-2 or MT-2. And to top it all off, the neck pickup gives me a close Stevie Ray on steroids tone. Irreplaceable to me and would probably be very hard to find another one. Has a cutaway on the back near the top so it is the most comfy sit down player I have. And push/pull volume knobs for single coils. Unfortunately, the trem is Floyd Rose's bitch.

I don't have photos, but here's a link to the old catalog scan.

i have 2 number #1's....my standard tuning guitar and my dropped D guitar. both of these have been used for ALMOST every show my band has played since mid 2005. SOMETIMES i shake things up and play something different, but THE BAND insists that i play these guitars!!!! how cool is that?

the first is my holoflake SL-1. it has been shown a few times. it sparkles REALLY awesomely under the stage lights, sounds great and only needs to be tuned once during an hour long set - with floyd abuse!!!!

my dropped D guitar is a custom charvel dinky. it is pretty sweet....it's basically a single hum PC-1, with a couple of obvious changes....it says charvel, for 1...flamed maple neck (same profile), painted headstock, rosewood board. it has an SD pearly gates pick up. this guitar KILLS.

a pic of the back of the neck.....

            GEAR:

some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!

some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!

            and finally....

i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!

Ok, I really need to get some better pics, but here's my number one:
              1995 Charvel San Dimas III

Reason? I can't really pin down one, but I will say that this guitar fits. The looks, the playability, the sound, everything. I bought this guitar nearly new in 97 and it's been my main axe ever since. I'll prolly carry it to hell with me. I've own, sold, and traded hundreds of guitars over the years but this one will NEVER leave my side.

Favorite guitar, it doesn't get played as much-the Model 88:

markD: That's one shiny soloist there. Me like shiny things :F

I have two that I regularly use: Charvel 475 silver crackle on standard tuning and a slightly modified (j-1000 midboost, ofr, schaller tuners made in W.Germany) Charvel model 88 on drop D. They're both just perfect. The M-88 just growls! I've played many 475 Charvels but this one's an absolute killer and it has the j-90c PU which is just wizard on this one. Both have the best necks I've ever laid my hands on.

                    Pic from the backside plz.
I hope that neck is bengal too... love it when that happens.
No such luck. But I don't look at the back as much.

I really hate the ESP Lynch tigers that aren't even tiger striped on the back.

The one upgrade I've done so far is a 37mm big block (non L). The next mod I want to do is a push pull tone to split the JB.

Thanks to Rev Timmy for the pics, and the guitar.
