    Welcome.

I'm not sure about that one. I would say pre-2006 KE3 but that doesn't look like a JT580 (Looks more like a JT500) and no Duncan Designed on the pickups. I think it might be a KX10. The JT500 would fit if it is a KX10.

thanks ben i came across one of the catalogs that had that scan you posted i didnt look to into that one cause the scan was blurry but thats very close. i went to a jackson dealer here in tucson and they took a look at it said it was a 99 or older pre performer wasnt too sure on that. they said it is korean made by the serial number. i was just worried it was a knock off and wanted to know what the wood and pickups are. so far aldar from what i can decifer from the blurry scan on jacksons site.

Performer series was before 99.My guess is KX10 body wood could be poplar.

Welcome to your new home. This is a great place to meet peple and learn nearly everything you want to know about Jackson and other guitars and equipment. Congrats on your purchase.

Thanks for all the info everyone has given I really appreciate it and I really appreciate the warm welcome didn't get that at the ESP forum LOL. I thought I had a ke3 that's what my friend said but I wanted to make sure. I didn't pay too much for it so I'm going to make it my project.

Hey, no problem. We treat people how they treat us. You've been very respectful so far so there is no reason for us to be hostile towards you. I'm guessing there's probably more young people at the ESP forum than here due to all the Artists they have that are popular with the kiddies. I find they don't grasp the difference in opinion and fact and that they don't realize that everyone else is also a person too, not just a fragment of the internet.

                              You should stick around.

                              (Oh, and I'm 16)
