    Here's my RR5 ...
I't just a stock RR5, nothing special to most, but my girlfriend bought it for me so, to me, it's pretty special.

Also ... I know it's not a Jackson, but I'm working on a Sandoval replica that should be pretty cool when it's done.

It's also known as the Rhoads LTD.

If you're thinking about buying one, be aware they're no longer made, and the few that do come up for sale are listed for at least $4500.

And you cannot order them through the Custom Shop anymore - unless you're Zakk Wylde

They made limited runs of the original Rhoads LTD. In 1992 about 200 were made and most had the Schaller/Jackson Floyd Rose bridge on them while about 30 had vintage trems. There were another 4 built with Original Floyd Rose bridges for the 97 NAMM show and then 25 vintage trem ones with other corrections made as the 25th anniversary models. Somewhere along they also unofficially made 7 shortwing Rhoads'.

It's a shame Jackson no longer makes them.

What happened to the #10 body?

Not sure what happened to the #10 body. I got #14 from Ebay. Apparently the store sold it to a guy new and his niece sat on it or fell on it or stepped on it - somesuch nonsense - and snapped the neck. So he took it back to the store so they could sell it on Ebay for him.

I nabbed it cheap after Kevin Easton (who at the time worked for Jackson in Ft Worth) said he'd sell me a genuine replacement neck for it minus the head.

The serial on that neck was #10, and it had what looked like a repaired split running about halfway down the fretboard. My guess is the original split so they repaired it, but it was more noticeable than the owner liked and they cut him a new one but kept the old one.

And yes, I sold it. It's a concept piece unfit for actual musical purposes. Weighed a ton and sounded like ass both acoustically and amplified.

Woulda made a sweet yard decoration or lawn dart. Or a mailbox post.

Fascinating to see the innards of the head though, and the pins that held the fretboard on the neck.

                          I'll dig up the pics.

I really like the concept of the Roswell.
                            The guitar, not so much.

Wasn't there at least one with chrome hardware (vintage trem I believe)?
