Thanks, but I cant stand gold hardware! Iv'e had 5 guitars with that cheap crap on them that tarnish's and looks like shit unless you keep it the case.............
I'm not a huge fan of shiny-gold hardware, but I like it once it's worn and not-shiny. So, since it has to start off shiny to get not-shiny, I deal with it
I don't like it to be chipped-up and flaky, though.

Really? At home I kept all of my guitars in stands, 3 of them have gold hardware & its still in nice shape. But I polish my guitars alot
Mine. I replaced the JB with a Custom (TB-5). I have a pair of chrome covered pickups waiting to go in for the look I want (Chrome OVERKILL!) but every time I pick the guitar up to work on it, I start playing it and then end up putting it down and not doing the work.
