Sorry- already posted this a few days ago but here's my one and only. A did-it-myself pimp project- took an old RR EX and painted it and upgraded/replaced everything but the body. EVERYthing ! Mighty Mite neck, OFR, SD active Blackouts, Planet Waves tuners, CTS 3 way toggle, skull n crossbones truss cover. Yeah, I know- polishing a turd but it was fun and it does rock!

It's a replica of Michael Sweet's Rhoads (from the band Stryper) - only his wasn't floyded. He also had a cool rev-head Kelly. Oz Fox had several Jackson's in his arsenal as well. Their stage gimmick (aside from throwing bibles into the crowd ) was yellow and black. Not much into Christian music - but no denying that those two played some pretty tasty licks.

I'm a passionate Jackson guitars fan, I just love them above all other guitars.

And yeah, I think just changing the pickup bezels on a RR5 to gold makes a hell of a difference to the look! Nice one!

Have not seen another one of those - Was that a custom or release tribute or something?

I saw stryper in 84 or early 85, they just happened to be playing at magic mountain in ca. Heard loud guitar and just walked in to an open show, realized it was stryper, thought i would just leave lol, but for free i'll check it out.
Thier Jacksons were sick tho and that got me to watch and ended up oz fox guitar solo was pretty frikin awesome and i was not expecting that - first real shredder i saw live really. 1984 or early 85 so i was 14 or 15.

At the time that was one of the coolest RR's out there even tho it was totally associated with the most hated band in metal.
