Urgent! Please help to identify Charvel

Owner of this guitar thinks it's a Model 4 (I disagree). This one is a bolt - on, HSS, Kahler, 5 way switch. Fort Worth plate, ser # 235472, Strat-type pickguard. He is the original owner and only wants $225 (Cdn) for it (seems like a good deal to me although I haven't played it yet....

Probably a model 3 of some sort. Is it a kahler fulcrum or flatmount. Dots or sharks on neck.

The tip off is the pickguard. Unless it was added later, the Model 4 and variants did not come with a pickguard. In 86, the Model 3 and 3A did have one. In this case, the HSS with the pickguard points to the standard Model 3. And as we all know (well, except for those who ask) the Kahler indicates 1986 model year.
