I have only had a bad experience with one member of this forum. Otherwise everyone was cool and any surprises in any of the deals were partially my own fault. I can honestly say I would trust any "regular" here as much as I would trust any eBay transaction.

And there you have it - the opinions of dealing with Pat from actual living (or not) JCF members [img]images/icons/tongue.gif[/img]

The thing about the JCF is that if anyone has a bad track record of deals, they don't last long around here. There's a list of people who are not longer JCF members, mostly because they got booted for earning a bad rep on deals with other JCFers. Obviously, Pat is one of the good guys. While no one is perfect, we don't keep the rotten apples.

As for Guitarzan's issue - the shipper is always responsible for delivering said goods in the condition they were sold in (unbroken, etc). Since the deal was still "fresh", the money Pat paid should logically have still been in GZ's account, and therefore readily available for refund. I've done deals where the seller needed money in a hurry to buy something else, but I also know that had something gone wrong like that, my refund would take precedence over their "find". That's just plain common sense.

Pat is totally stand up IMO. I have extreme trust in him.

To mention him in the same sentence with Roman or Vince Sansevere is pretty uncalled for.

And Mike, that deal WAS squared up over 8 months ago, but I'll be happy to post what happened...

As far as being on your ban list, nice to know... That deal was kind of screwy as I had a lot of things going on at the time and we both kind of forgot about it, we [EDIT] realized [EDIT] what was up and came to an agreement, and now I'm blocked? eh, oh well bro...
