  • Blast From The Past

Well, as I was looking for the pix Brooks requested of the NAMM 04 PC-1, "Lumpy", I also came across my Jackson factory tour pix from January 2003. At the time Lloyd Prins from GuitarXpress.com arranged to take any interested JCFers to tour the Ontario factory while out at NAMM 2003. We had a blast there and got the tour with Tim Wilson, who had been at Jackson from the begining of it all! In Jan 2003 Jackson was owned by Fender but still had not moved from the Ontario factory location. Several months later they would move to Corona. I have more from the tour but I'll post these for now. We had a great time there! Hey McD, can we possibly do this at Corona next year around NAMM time? So here are some pix as we entered:

    Jackson building front entrance, Ontario

Jackson/Charvel neon signs in front glass

Celeste hard at work in the front office/lobby. She used to look up work orders for us when we'd call about our guitars. Sadly, they don't do that anymore

Tim Wilson with all the old Jackson/Charvel guitar records. Last picture is with Lloyd from GuitarXpress

Keep 'em coming Rudy! I, for one, love to see stuff like this. And I would love to make it to NAMM and get a personal tour.

They are great guitars. I'm a moron for selling mine. Don't rub it in.

I will post some more pix from inside the Ontario CS in the next couple days. I even put some original USA Jackson sawdust from the shop in a plastic bag and gave it to a couple friends as souvenirs when I got back at the time
Shreddermon, sorry to hear you got rid of yours. Ocassionally one pops up for sale, perhaps you'll get one back some day.
