Kinda strange how some of those Y2KV's have bone nuts (or what appears to bone) and some have phenolic nuts. Wonder if it was just random which ones got which or what.

Do I see BC Riches in a couple of those photos? What are those guitars with the Rich-like headstock? The ones with multi-piece necks with stringers?

I have much more to upload to Photobucket then will post them here for you I've only been to the Jackson Ontario CS once and it was like being in guitar heaven! I think I filled up every memory stick on my digital camera at the time. I'd like to tour Corona at some point and take more pix.

yeah, i've only been there once myself. the jcf-01 guitars were being built at the time and i got to hold a few of them, along with some of the dave hart firebirds. man, those things are amazing.

There's at least 10 of them, Sully. 9 in the rack on the shop floor, and one with a blue-painted body a couple of photos down, hanging to dry. Too many for an employee one-off.

Export-only model, maybe? Contract work for another company?

And +1 on these pics, Rudy. Awesome stuff. And I don't say that just because one of my customs is in them. If I ever make it out to Cali, I would love to take a tour of Corona.

The Y2KVs bring me back. Wish I had known then what I know now. My buying priorities certainly would've been different.
