I'm trying to come up with something for the website - something for news, etc. You know, Fender has 60 Cycle Hum... what should we have for Jackson? If you have a good name/idea - let me know! If I use it, I'll send you something from out online store (shirt, pint glass, zippo, etc...)

Rhoads to fruition. for the news aspect of the site. Pays homage to Randy and says it all about a Jackson being pure pleasure to own and play.

          Hey Brian

It would be great to see a good news section on the Jackson Site

          How about "Fret Buzz"

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Yes! How about a PC1 finish that is kind of like the Gibson Voodoo's. I realize it might involve changing the body to swamp ash, but it would be cool. Imagine it lightly frosted with white with blue or red rubbed in the wood grain.

                  Re: And... the SITREP

Considering that most Jacksons have the pointy headstock, and that being sort of a visual trademark of the brand over the years, how about "The Point"?

It's cool that some high-profile folks are out playing with Jacksons again. I'm guessing that Fear Factory will maybe just drop the bass entirely, have Christian play the 7-string, and use more electronics, since they were headed that direction anyway. And Sepultura...well, I wish I was seeing more favorable reviews of their new album, but I haven't heard it yet myself.

                      Re: And... the SITREP

I would think would be neat to see is a Soloist made to look like it was made around the time Randy's white V was made. Give it a non-recessed Floyd, old style controls route, the Jackson logo like on Randy's guitar and offer it with pinstripe finishes and retro early 80's colors and graphics. Add nibs in the binding by the frets and an old school neck profile and it could be a sort of fantasy reissue.
