Where can I find black Jackson tuner head buttons?

I've been trying to track down just the button heads for the tuners on my SL2h and can't seem to just find them without having to buy the whole tunerheads. Anybody know of a place to get black replacements that will fit?

I didn't think they'd be soo tricky to track down when I painted these, heh

I painted them white for the guitars current theme....




and now want them black again as I am getting the guitar refinished ( the white won't look good with the refinish)

Are the tuners Schallers or Gotohs?

You can get ebony tuner heads for Schallers from Stew Mac.

I'm assuming they are Gotoh with just a "Jackson" logo. and I saw the Ebony ones on Stew Mac but was not keen on the priceyness of them. Also didn't see anything on Frets on the Net and various other guitar parts places.

Why can't you use a solvent to get the white paint off the tuner knobs?

go to auto zone get a can of stripper called aircraft stripper, you will need to clean them up good. Get some black primer and paint them several times letting them dry for about 2 hrs, get extra fine sand paper, then do a base coat of black let it dry for 15-20 min reapply base coat, let dry for 30 min then slap a coat of clear over them and if you have some way to bake them at 90 degrees they would stick good.
