If you got an RR of some flavor, give em a rip tonight & hoist a beer! Can you believe the guy would have been 53 years old by now? Time flies.

Poor dude, such a young age to die and such an inspiration gone so quick, he inspired a great guitar, great bands and great guitarists, but he shouldn't of had to leave so quick, fucking planes.

I hope I don't die at 25, but then again I wish he didn't either, Randy - one of the best Guitarists ever. R.I.P

He died three days after my 14th birthday. He left an indelible mark on the music industry and people everywhere. Give Dee strength on this anniiversary.

Airplane + drugs = bad decision

Good guitarist, who knows what he could have become?

I was 14, had been playing for a year or two by then, and can remember it like it was yesterday.

So brief a career, yet he left behind so much incredible music.

You Can't Kill Rock n' Roll is my favorite song of all time and the guitar arrangements are kick ass.

Diary of a Madman is one of my favourite arrangements ever. To think I'm still trying to get a handle on some of the things he did and he was only 25 when he left us. The guy was brilliant and still had so much more to develop & learn himself. We can only imagine where he was going to take it from there.
                  Hail yesterday

Randy didn't have to get on the plane. Do you think he heard it calling to him? That siren song from the other side saying "it's time"?

                      RIP RR
