    My storry is:
I as a big Megadeth fanboy Dave was the reason why I got into Jacksons.
And since the mid 90s I spent more than 10k€ into Jackson guitars.
And I''m not the only one.

Wish I still had my Y2KV bolt-on import. No telling what I could get for it these days
I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

            I disagree Newc..... Gibson sub-brands:

            USA 1985 Baretta
Let's not forget HOLY RHOADS RIPOFFS.....
            Vanguard FR440S
            Vanguard S440S

            Basses
            Focus 420S
            Striker 422S

            Valley Arts Guitars
            Guitars
            Brent Mason Signature (tele)
            Custom Pro (strat)
            T-Series (tele)
            T-Series Bent Top (tele)

The Y2KV placed next to a Flying V is much more different than any of the guitars are to their respective counterparts. The only thing the Y2KV and Flying V have in common is that they're both V shaped.
Transitioning from Retired Musician from cover bands to a Full time vocalist/frontman/guitarist in an original and covers band....it's been a while and this should get NASTY!

              2 things:

1- Threads about Dave / Megadeth are always among the most popular threads in here
2- There are a lot of teenager Megadeth fans out there now.

Bring him back and I'm sure the sales numbers for USA Jacksons will double in a few years.

Well, teenage days are long gone. But I was a hardcore fanboy back in the day.

And still when I put out my KV1 or KV-Pro I get a FUCKING BONER!
So bring him back, DAVE IS JACKSON!

Dave Mustaine can't really trash talk jackson since Rhoads was the inspiration of his guitar and was also a Jackson artist they actually created the V, I would much rather the ignorant jerk playing a strat.

Without Mustaine, I would never have become a Jackson fanboy. If he does a string-through KV sig, I'm on it like a $39 suit.

If Dave comes back that means he bought Jackson guitars
Actually I'd really like it, I wonder if he'd have something else besides the KV1 or Y2KV. When he went with ESP, I really loved his ESP's, but I played one of his Dean's and I really hated it. I had a thread in the Megadeth forums where do you think he'd go next, someone said he'd go back for sure, dunno though.
It'd be neat if he had his own company

But back to the original question, I wont randomly buy a guitar comp[any just because somebody plays the brand.

I would say the company is worth significantly more now than when Mustaine "tried" to buy Jackson. Back then, you couldn't give pointy metal guitars away.

Let me clue you yardbirds in on something. If you think prices on Jacksons and Charvels is high now, just let Mundane buy the company! He's at the age that he's planning his retirement and his kid's future.

I imagine if they offered Marty a Sig he'd definately say ya. He got kicked off of Ibanez, and they could probably make some good money from him too.

Also the Y2KV is like the Dean V, with the cut-aways, they wont be able to sue.
And the reason I got into Jackson's is from my friends Warrior, and how badass it looked. I loved it almost as much as I now love my Rhoads. Jackson's are my favourite brand even to this day.
