P.S.- I think Matt re-upping with J/C was a sign from the heavens that I need to stop thinking too much, and just get that guitar in the build queue now.
This thread makes me wonder how many of the JCF01 guitars are still here within the JCF community. I know there were three prototypes. P1 is with me and Lloyd told me someone bought P3 from him but it never arrived so he sent him P2. As to the whereabouts of the others in the run, I don't see them much on here which makes me wonder if they got sold off. Anyway, the JCF01 Rhoads has a big fat neck yet is very easy to play. Incredible job on that one. Anyone else here still have theirs?
I sold my JCFs. As much as I tried, I'm just not a V guy. I'd always wanted a Big Red when I found out me and RC were about the same height and diameter ( ) and Gibson Vs felt small on me.
However, I just didn't bond with JCF02 for some reason.
I'm also not that much into non-Floyded guitars, so JCF01 went out before I could have it Floyded, because that was on my To-Do list.
I know a JCFer has my old JCF01, and I think Dave Ingram has my 02. He's not a JCFer per-se, but he's definitely in the greater community.
Sully - Now that you mention it, it was $2500 for BR. I remember now that I sold it to Ingram for what I paid.
Wow this thread has a crap load of views and replies, didn't think it'd get so many
For those of you out there I apologize for making this to bring back bad memories, and to be honest, JCF-02 I think is an amazing guitar visually. I would LOVE to get my hands on one of those someday, but I'll have to dream...
JCF-03 probably wont happen unfortunately, and that sucks because I as being new here, would've loved to see something like this happen. Jeez, maybe one of us should find a Jackson Dealer about to close down for good, I'm sure they wouldn't mind losing their Jackson's to sell
As for that prick out there who stirred the shit pot thanks, for scrweing over Robbin Mo' Fuckin' Crosby of his Tribute Big Red, and us of the YCE.
That being said, I'm going to set up a bank account, half of the money I ever make from any pay check I ever get will go in there, and it will save and save until a JCF-03 will be in the works. Who knows, maybe something to do with Dave Mustaine, to people he is Jackson Guitars. How bout a replica of his main Jackson, the silver flake King V? Or maybe even just the first King V ever recorded? Silver Flake with black bevels and matching headstock perhaps?

You are tenacious aren't you? Elvis has left the building on this.
It's been said several times that JCF-03 won't happen. Use your money to do a custom shop with the Big Red specs. You just won't get the additionals that came with it. Or better yet, build what YOU want.
