981xxxx should be way newer than 2004

The DXMG now has actives? When did this happen? IIRC, all they changed in 2006 were the bass plate for the trem and the alder wood replaced with basswood. The HZ pups were retained. The DKMG and WRMG got the 81/85 set upgrade.
      Fuck ebay, fuck paypal

I bought a nice used one for $250 (without case), but took it back.

It was a very nice guitar, but I have too many.

Don't know when it happened, but the pics up on the Jackson site clearly show regular EMG's and not HZ's.
The specs still say HZ's, but we all know how accurate the printed specs have always been.

How long do they last, I'm not talking about Van Halen/Steve Vai action just regular playing with some whammy action ?

And how much would you pay for one ?

Is it normal that the trem doesn't say Licensed under floyd rose.

Sorry about all the noob questions
Usually by the fine tuners it will say "licensed by Floyd Rose" The trem lasts a good while as long as you take care of it and a black OFR goes for 180.00 at warmoth.com -And if you want to swap for active EMG's I have a set of 81/85
