  • Jackson difference with models ?

O.k I'm sorry about the complete noob question.

    I'm a Fender/Gibson/Ibanez guy but I have been trying a few
Jackson guitars and I just can't stop thinking about them.
    Plus they look badass.

MG, X and JS series ?
    Indonesia and Japan ?
If it's Japan also what's the difference from the Pro Series ?

Pro Series higher quality guitars made in Japan ?

Usa Select Series, made in America but not custom shop guitars ?

    Thanks...

There's a couple threads on this already, but here's the quick answer:

JS - Made in India, entry-level instruments, but still good value for the price
X - Made in Japan, Duncan-designed, licensed Floyd
MG/Pro - Made in Japan, name brand parts, Korean Floyd Rose. Only difference is the pickup choice (MG is EMG, Pro is Duncan)
USA Select - Made in USA, name brand parts, German Floyd
