        It's called Distortion - SH-6 is the model #

        The JB's number is SH-4

hey there xRR1x...If you refering to the Pinstripe LTD that looks like the one Randy played... Those are pretty rare and are one of the most sought after Jacksons, you do see them periodically on eBay.

There is an RR5 which is an import standard Rhoads shape body that has gold and pinstripes but not in the league of a LTD.

The JB is perfectly suited in a RR1,no reason to replace the JB on a RR1 unless you don't like the tone.

Hmm. When did they change to the JB? I thought all USA Rhoads' came with Randy's favorite combo - Distortion and Jazz?
Anyhoo, the Distortion is a way better pickup.

welcome xrr1x...shawn pretty much nailed it; prepare for a long search, and spending around 3 large for one. there's been a few on ebay, too.

newc, as far as stock rr1 pickups, they've always been jbs.
