  • whats up with this guitar?

Hi everyone, im going straight to the point.
I bought this guitar last christmas , for about $300 dlls , it was used.
I bought it , because it was a jackson, it had EMGs-HZ (passives, i hate actives) and it looked nice overall. The point is...
does anyone knows something bout this guitar? what model it is? where was it made? how old is it?

I am confused because the headstock is from a jackson soloist, but soloists, are neck through, and this one isnt.
Here are some pictures, i hope someone knows something bout this guitar .
    The serial number is 9716637

                  Finally, i found out

Jackson DXMGT-SP , the "SP" means it has the soloist headstock. Also found its Japanese.

Thx Advv, Orion and everyone else.

P.S I would really like to hear the opinion of everyone bout this guitar.

PS 2: Should i put a Dimarzio Air Norton on the neck? what you guys think?

I don't know why you keep referring to a "Soloist headstock" - that doesn't make sense. It's what we call in slang "smurf hat"

Your guitar was made in Japan in 2004, it's a low to mid-range Jap. Welcome aboard.

And some freak out if you refer to it as smurf hat and claim that the only smurf hat headstock is the ESP one

Soloists do not have different headstocks than other Jacksons. That headstock is also on the KV2T as well.

That is offically called an AT headstock.
                            Really? well screw Mark Twain.

Lemming - I'm with you.. Until VERY recently (like when I got 1/2 way through this post) I only saw that headstock on the sls Soloist so I understood what you meant..
