Does every RR or Kelly model over a few months old have a chip out the paint on one of the horns?

Does anyone have an older one of these (say five years or more) that doesn't have such a blemish? Is it even possible?!

I've only ever owned one Rhoads (RR24) and at no stage did it ever wind up dinged or chipped.

How long did you have it? Every one of those types of guitar I see on ebay has a chip out the paint in the same place, as do both of mine.
That said, Ebay has mostly RR3, KE3 or even lower spec models. I imagine people with RR1s or KE2s take more care of their guitars.
I always did look after my RR3, but it still somehow got a ding.

I have 4 Vs and they all have dings unfortunately. My Kelly, however, does not. No matter how much you try to avoid it, they usually get a gind or two on the points. I have learned to accept it as the nature of the beast.

I have had my KBRR for about 3 years.. no dings. I try to keep all my guitars in as good condition as i can, but my old RR3 had the tips ding'd . its so hard not to , there is such little paint on those tips.

yes all of my usa kellys and RR's are ding free(no chipped horns or headstocks)- however on 1 of my ke2's I did manage to have parft of an inlay break off(no idea how that happened).

On the RR models a standard floor stand will cause the long horn to hit the floor everytime(my theory about chipped upper horns).

My RR1T is from 2000, and at least 3 people have owned it before me. There's no chips or dings on it. Maybe a few little normal pick swirls or whatever if you look really close at the clear coat, but it's pretty hard to tell because of the properties of the slightly metallic gunmetal gray paint.

All of my "pointy" guitars and some of my others all have dings. I buy them to play them, not to baby them.

                  Dinged guitars play better.

I had it approx 6 months. Whilst I do play my guitars a lot, I'm very cautious not to damage them.

I had my Rhoads for like 6 months till it got a chip/ding. Due to my mother, not me.

My RR3 had dings on the horns. I accidently smashed something into it and chipped a bit of the paint on the back.
