Great diversity! I don't play metal at all and I just can't give up on Jackson. I show up to a blues session with all these guys with their strats and teles and they just kind of look at me funny when I pull out the Jackson with Floyd Rose on it...

Does Malmsteen count as classical? ;-) Actually, I love throwing the toggle into the neck position single hum and chunking out some cool distortioned blues riffs. It's a great warm-up for the soul.

For an album which the guitarist recorded using little 15W Marshalls - wiring 6 together for live shows. That's kinda metal itself.

I was thinking more of tones like the title track to "Too Old To Rock and Roll" and "Said She Was A Dancer".

I noodle around in as many styles and genre's as possible, which helps, as im mostly into prog-rockish type stuff... which covers a wide variety in itself.

And its all being played through "Jacky"!

I play al little blues with my dk1. And get a real nice clean tone out of it...I can't call it classical, but it's clean.

I play whatever pops in my head at the time with whichever guitar is closest to me. It doesn't have to sound right, it works in my head. The guitar is just a tool for what's happening in there.. I'm too lazy to go in the closet and get my strat just cause I want to play Cocaine... which there's times I sit on my couch and play that for hours on end... Shut up!!! IT'S MY HEAD!!!

I'm mostly a fusion player nowadays, though my idea of fusion is a little out there for most folks.

I play a lot of blues and jazz on mine. I just like small bodied guitars over the big hollow bodies.

I play mainly thrash and speed metal, but when I get bored of doing massive rhtyms I'll throw on my Ducan Jazz in the neck of my DK2M and back off the volume and "try" to noodle around kind of jazz like.
                            Gear:

                            Jackson DK2M (07')

                            Jackson PS-4 (99'?)

The middle position of the DK2M, with the volume down a bit, is really nice for cleaner noodling stuff.
