  • Finding A JT580 Whammy Bar Online where?

How hard is it to find this whammy bar online or any old Jackson Whammy bar (JT 500 /80/90series) online to buy or at a store?
There's guitars I see online that go for a good discount just cause the whammy bar is missing. I went on ebay and guitar center but didn't find the whammy bar at their site. Or wrong keywords?

Where can I buy one? Link me a store link.

Oh I should introduce myself. My name is Danny and I've always liked Jackson guitars, esp the ones made in the past. I like Kelly's and Soloist styles. I'm into everything from very commercial pop music to metal.

The Rhoads and Mustaine V is awesome but its not fashionably or ergonomically suitable to me.

how do i know if the arm will fit? Aren't Jackson tremolos all have different arm sizes (like comparing screwdrivers to phillips)

Thats another problem of mine is I don't know that kind of info.

the 500 is thicker so you'll need a allen scre about the length of a nut lock screw

I think the bar for a kahler fits in there Im not sure on the mm's for it. Its probably the tackeuchi model where the bar screws right into the trem block so the schaller type setup will not work in it.

If you get in a jam finding a screw-in bar that fits snug, sometimes a luthier can drill out the plate and install the collared variety.

Ok looks like a JT580 L.P.with a reg floyd trem arm stud you may need to try a few to find one to fit.

If it's a normal JT580 LP I'm fairly sure this will fit:

                              http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Black-Floyd-Ro...lenotsupported

The guy's alright I've bought stuff from him before. He sells trems the exact same as the Jackson ones but without the Jackson name on them. I put one on my KE3 and I know for a fact the Jackson arm off my DK2M fits it perfectly cos I've tried it.
