  • Yet another Serial # question

i see these questions a lot everywhere, i dont really know how to decipher it on my own, due to inconsistencies with the methods i have researched. i just would like to know what model i have and its worth, in the excellent condition its in. on the metal plate the number is 04080436, its a shiny dark blue "quilted" look on the face of the guitar, natural neck, black headstock, and the sides and back are black as well. floyd rose endorsed trem, the usual. any info is greatly appreciated! thank you

Are you aware of the many different shapes Jackson makes? What you've described could be a Kelly, King V, Warrior, Rhoads, or Dinky.

With the minimal info you've provided, all I can say it's a 2004 Made In India model.

Cameras are dirt cheap these days, and photo hosts are a dime a dozen. Get both, then post a picture.
You'll need them for the Ebay listing anyway.

heres some pics, thanks for the info so far. i actually bought it brand new, i know i should be aware of the information but i just am not keen to jacksons really. yes, i am looking to sell it ha. it plays really well, i use it for drop c playing, only complaint i have is the narrow neck. makes for awkward spacing of the strings. just my opinion. hope these help

Looks like an Indian made Dinky like a JS30DK. Worth is about 150-200 bucks street value in the USA. And the nut width should still be 1 11/16ths. pretty wide by neck standards.

really? it seems really narrow to me. ive heard the same complaint from some other people who have picked it up. it plays really well otherwise, and has an awesome sound for what it is. pretty versatile guitar actually. thanks for the information, it is greatly appreciated
