Not sure if took he delivery either.

Vic Vergat had a few Vs like that, too, from what I remember.
K.K did not take delivery of this guitar. I believe the guitar player from MALICE did.

Well, lets don't give Grover too much credit here.......he's shown the ability to be pretty.....unintelligent.

But I agree, a boner like giving away a percentage interest in the Rhoads guitar to that chick in Vixen seems pretty unlikely. That's a Wayne Charvel level mistake.

"Damned guitar parts, I ain't never gonna make any money selling this shit."

Besides, Jazz is right. Vinnie is like a level 5 mutant or something. He can "emote" the movement of the strings with his mind. he's like Jean Grey with teased hair and a beer gut.

Why the hell doesn't Eddie pick up a goddamned guitar and play something?

Only Vinnie has those. It's 2 RR's laid on top of one another to get that shape. I heard Vinnie actually became a women.

Eh, thread resurrect, so I'll bite. A buddy in high school had an offset double V. He was a huge KISS fan, but far more obsessed with Ace than Vinnie to be sure. It was pink-and maybe red. That I remember. Anyway, I can't remember if it was a Jackson or not.

I lost touch with him years ago, and I'd feel kind of weird calling to ask about that guitar, but ever since I saw this thread a few months ago I've been wondering. I guess it's possible there were knockoffs made by some other manufacturer, but I haven't seen any since.

I don't know if Vinnie's now a woman, but other people have ordered Custom Shop versions of that guitar. Not sure if they'll do it any longer, though.

Carvin made at least one for Vinnie, and I believe another manufacturer did for him, too.

Ed Roman will fix you right up.

I swear that is just a pink Rhoads with 2 extra pieces glued on, after it is painted even.

You can see the little "winglets" fly off in the Boyz 'R' Gunna Rawk video, at the end when he smashes the guitar against the stage.

That WAS a RR model with wings added. The VV model (which he used for most of the video) is a bit different.

Yeah, I considered that, but it doesn't make any more sense to glue wings onto a pink RR V and smash it than it does to smash a VV. At the time, you know, with them all being custom.

Well in Invasion - All Systems Go, Vinnie began to play with Carvin VV Models, instead of Jacksons. As well as in your Guitar Instructional Video called Speed metal phrasing.
