Guitar Generator Version 5 Available Soon

Version 5.0.0 of the Guitar Generator will soon be available from the liquidpixelshop.com web site, and should also soon be available to JCF Platinum Members.

Revisions may seem minor, but a lot of "under the cover" work was done, plus some bug fixes.

Here's what's new:

- New GUI
- Burst feature added (finally!)
- Neck single coil position error fixed
- Strat pickguard position for custom color fixed
- Sticky color slider problem fixed
- Pickup bezel color error fixed
- Opera browser load problem fixed

New shapes should start trickling in now over the coming months; I would have liked to have gotten some new shapes in this version, but I really wanted to get a release made and available for people to use.

Hey - great work is always appreciated. Did you happen to included the bezels over pickguard issue? An on/off feature for bezels when you have a pickguard would be good so you elect to do a Dave Murray or not.

On the Rhoads? There is a non-bevel Rhoads shape option, so you kind of need to know going into it whether you want a pickguard or not, I guess.

The way everything works, it would be tricky to turn bezels "off" on the fly. Doable, I guess, but I decided to make the non-bezel shapes for the Kelly, Rhoads, and King V separate shape options from the main menu.

Or am I misinterpreting what you are asking?

Ohhhhhhhhh. I get it. I thought he meant body bevels.

That option will definitely be in a near-future revision. In fact, I had started it, but then decided to hide the changes release it as-is for the time being. So some of the code is in there to do that already, but is currently deactivated.
