FYI: I think the 24" is the diameter of the seat, not the hieght.

Edit: Ok, after further investigation, maybe I am mistaken about that, I just can't imagine a 2 foot tall stool. Oh well..

I got one last time around anyway, now I want a Charvel stool.

Robert Hendrix, you may be right about the 24" being the top. I can't imagine a 2' stool either, but then again, maybe that's why they have to put them on clearance to sell them!

Either way, I guess I don't really care how tall they are. The top part is the cool part, and I suppose I could put the top part on any regular-size bar stool if I really end up with tiny little midget stools that I can't use.

By the way, what's the deal with "The Bloodline?" What does that mean? Is that just what Jackson calls their ongoing legacy, or is it some name for some imported models or something?

A - it is the height. These are more like "playing stools" so your feet will be on the ground while you sit. Not like high bar stools.

B - The Bloodline is a direct reference to the heavy metal heritage of Jackson players, like the famous Nelson brothers who laid down some of the most righteous riffing known to man. At one point, Jackson even considered renaming the double-neck soloist "The Gunnar."

I believe it's the height also. But it actually sounds cool, because instead of sitting in a regular chair and turning my left foot sideways so I can use it to prop up my right foot, I can just putt both feet on the floor since I'm only sitting 2' above it. I bought these as a novelty, but I may end up actually using them!

You know, I sit on my amp all the time, and that thing is only 18 inches high or so. These stools are getting more and more awesome every time I think about them!

I have a desk in my music room that I use as a work bench for my guitars. I have a 2' chair in there to use because I like being able to get down and look at the guitars really close while I work on them. So the 2' is going to work well for me. Plus like some of you said, you can play while having both feet on the ground. The reason I missed out on these last time is because I was debating if 30" was too high for what I wanted to use it for. I think these will be great!

For the record, 30" is too high for me because I have to prop my feet up on something to be comfortable and stable - the rungs on the stool aren't super comfy for me!
