  • Any Ibanez RG321 owners here?

Tried one out the other day and was blown away! What a nice looking and playing guitar. I`m was so impressed that i`m definitely going to be getting one in the next week or so. Everything was spot on and even though the pups weren`t the best, definitely usable. Nice low action with no buzzing whatsoever. I intentionally tried to get it to buzz by playing really hard and the thing took all i could dish out,no problem...my USA Strat can`t!! A real solid workhorse of a guitar imo and if you put a good set of Duncans or DiMarzio`s in these, look out! Does anyone have one of these and if so what is your opinions about them.

I have one in the natural mahogany. Scored it on eBay for $280 shipped. NIB. I have never played a hardtail before this but i will be getting another for sure. The 321 is a GREAT deal. I will be swapping out the pups eventually but they are ok for now...

I have one that is a basswood body that was stripped and clearcoated.
I like the necks too just a bit thicker than a wizard which is fine with me.
I got mine in a pawn shop for $80.00.

got a matt black one. with a detuned set of 10's on it, kicks ass but tuning stability could be better.
yeah it was me, you got a problem with that?

I doubt its the bridges fault...maybe you need to put some better tuners on it?

Ibanez cuts the nut for 9's so I'd say the wound strings are pinching in the nut slots
              Just my 2cents.
Just take a nut file clean up the slots and you'll be fine.

Ive owned one of them, as well as the RG421 that was made in Japan and discontinued.

Go on Ebay, save for another 2 weeks, and buy the RGA121, you can often find them used for a good price, and they are fantastic, I mucho preferred my RGA121's fit and finish!!

On my RG321 I had it modded with Planet Waves lockign Tuners and a Graphtech nut, then I tossed in some Dimarzio's. It was a good player, but still didnt have the feel and quality of the level up RGA121

I owned a RG421 and i played a few RGA121`s,great guitars. I hear ya but i have my heart set on a RG321MH. Just about with any mass produced guitars the quality will vary from piece to piece but the 321`s i`ve played were fantastic and why spend more money if you don`t have to.
