right, stock JB jr. Bridge, stock Hotrails for mid and neck...you can imagine the THUNDER

How does the hot rails neck sound for doing Maiden stuff?

I have the bridge locked down, but I need a neck pickup, and unless I route, I'm stuck with an HSS.

The neck Hotrails is surprisingly thick, warm and glassy with incredible sustain from the basswood body..tone rolled back only slightly if at all.

thanks..yeah, the guitar is almost pristine, very low hours since 2001, definite closet queen, my tech did a set-up, also a couple tall frets that were leveled..now it's the BEAST it should be

How do you like the PAF Pro in your axe?

It's OK. It sounds a bit "blurpy" to me - i.e. lead notes seems to sound overly round and bubbly - tough to describe, but not something I've heard from the PAF 36th in my Murray.

thanks man, yeah, I haven't seen one of these for years, and I scour eBay regularly..there's one on eBay now that has been modified with "EVH stripes" (love Eddie but it looks terrible), and another one located in UK for an astronomical price. This one was sold to me very cheap, would be crazy not to snatch it up, thanks again
