    Nice stuff!
what type of quality do they have? Most of the BC Rich stuff I have handled was shit, I know this is his son and different company and all, but I don't have a chance to see one of these up close and personal.
They are beautiful looking in the pics.

I own a Rico Jr. Jekyll and it's hands down the best guitar I have played or owned. Bernie Jr. knows his stuff. The thing just sings and sustains greatly.

In fact I loved it soo much, within a week of owning it I put in a order for a 7 string Jekyll.

The Valiant is incredibly drool-worthy! I'm anxious to see the single-cutaway version as well.

I own a one of a kind custom Jekyll. In fact it is the one on his webpage where you click on custom guitars. Best guitar I own or for that matter have ever seen or played and that is compared to Anderson, Suhr - you name it.

Just an amazing guitar. Everybody that hears it comments on the tone. It just sings. It balances perfectly. The neck is just awesome. Every attention to detail is perfect. And it is absolutely beautiful.

He picked out a special light piece of mahogany and cut the maple top in a way that shows the grain in both directions. Real abolone, stainless steel frets, ebony board and full on custom head stock. He even put those fancy jazz tuners on at no charge.

Without a doubt one of the top builders out there. He does not advertise much though and does not attend the NAMM shows so you don't hear about his stuff much.

You won't go wrong with one of his guitars they are as good as it gets.

There's a spalted maple Jekyll on **** that I like the look of. I was gassing for a Suhr Modern but now... hmmmm.
All men play on 10. Never gonna turn down again.

Suhr Monderns bore the shit out of me. They are both similar in quality - that's how good the Ricos are.
No doubt the Moderns play nice and sound great but so does a Rico. Ricos play effortlessly.
The Moderns just have nothing interestingly different about them - same old boring S body style and fugly headstock.
I personally spoke with Bernie for over an hour about all kinds of things - and he is fanatical about the quality of anything that leaves his shop - even an import. If an import has an imperfection he personally takes the paint off and repaints it.

The Rico standards that he is selling direct like the ones on his site - Hysperians or something - are seling for $1700. I don't think you can get a Modern in that price range.

And if you order custom Rico will do things Suhr would never do because Rico is a smaller shop. I got a completely hand made headstock not available on ANY of his models - yeah I had to pay for it but it is one of a kind. Suhr has limited options.
