Ive never played one but from wat ive read they look amazong and i hear they play like a dream, I mean they have some great features Buzz Featon tuning system, the fretboard is made of that apoxy carbon stuff. Ide love to play one myself.
I lusted after an HM20 for a long time, and when I finally got one, I realized that they are TINY. I'm 6'2" and it looked ridiculous on me. The neck however, is a really cool asymmetrical profile, and very fast. Mine was an original, but I doubt the newer ones have the same neck.
They have the fretboards of a Parker Fly. The same company that owns Washburn owns Parker too now. I'd imagine they play amazing just gotta find me one to play before I go buy one.
Yeah I'm taking a chance on buying before playing it, but back in the 80's I always wanted 1 of these, but could never afford it as a Teenager. Just wish it would've come in white with the 3 ply binding. That would've been Hot!
OK so it's Here the HM-20 I stopped to post real quick & my hands needed a break after 3 hours of playing. Pics to come as soon as I can download them! Even the stock pups might stay in.
