  • My First BC Rich

This one is from the late 80s and came with gotoh hardware.
Seems a few US Gunslingers were shiped without the "Made in USA" on the headstock...

This one was a trade that just got a bath and has a re'n're.
Gonna play around wih the X2N but it may end up with a Zebra TB6...TBD

Same reverse neck and single angled hum as my 80's black and green crackle warlock. Mine's a single locking floyd though. My favorite guitar!! Good luck with it.

Very nice. How's it feel and play compared to say, a Model Series Charvel?

they smoke model series charvels, they are more like older pointy headstock SD charvels or even the newer reissue pointies done a few yrs back.

I have had a few and they are awesome players.I had a pink and black snake and a red one.
Very close to the quality of the SD Charvels IMO.

                  Very nice Gunslinger.

You are correct. Some of the early USA ones are like that with no "Made In The USA" on the headstock. I have one of those necks around here somewhere.

that's awesome. If my gunslinger had that finish I wouldn't have sold it earlier this year(still the dumbest sale I ever made).

                        sell me the neck!

its odd for a slinger neck to not have the made in usa, yes the early script logo didnt have it but for the most part they were pre slinger. these older logos without made in usa were also slightly larger. that being said bcr there is no such thing as always, or never, alot of oddball and WTF stuff out there....plus many fakes and backdoor factory gits.

Awesome. I do like those old slingers.

I have the Re-issue Gunslinger (red model), very close to the old ones. One of my favourite guitars.

That looks awesome. I've never had a BC Rich, but one of those would be great, a total metal guitar.
Add a push/pull for coil split though! (Assuming the X2N is four conductor, I don't know about DiMarzios, you could do it with an SH6 though).

                              BTW What's a "re'n're"?
