I just got my Strat body back from Mike Learn....

...and it's g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s! It reproduced the shade of red I wanted perfectly (cherry red, not too dark, not too bright) and put just the right amount of flake in it. I did the major reassembly work on tonight and I'm dropping it off with the local tech tomorrow for rewire (output jack and trem claw ground) and nut fix (D string slot is funky - resonates behind the nut.

I captures a good gaudy vintage vibe with the white pearloid pickguard, aged pickups and knobs and abalone dot inlays. I'll post pics when I get it back.
