I have always wanted a Les Paul, but have never been able to afford the $1500+ to get one. So, on a whim, I got this Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus (whew!). I had already been messing around testing these out and thought I would buy one around Christmas. The price was insane (got it for about $350) and Christmas came early. The other night I played the entire JP British Steel album beginning to end, no stopping. The sound was awesome and played really nicely. BIG difference compared to my 88 San Dimas strat, but very nice. Smooth yet hits like a hammer. This pic is the one from Guitar Center site, but is the exact copy of mine. I'll see if I can get real pics up when I get a new camera. Peace.
