Of course I did trade it for this GMW which I really like too...but I miss the Jake.
That blueburst was so beautiful in person.
Here's my pair of GMW HRF's that I still own.
And here's a couple that I used to own

Why and When did the strat heads, jackson copies, etc.. cease? THAT was their best stuff. Not a fan of the new headstock. I'm sure their just as awesome though.DiMarzio Endorsee

Im late to this party!
Perfect..(IMO) is this Franky..*thanks Tim! Superb fit and finish, and
a wonderful player( as are all GMW's, and Empires) (its the middle one)
Left is an ART series FMIC, then on the right is a Warmoth/Kramer Clone
#25 Empire Standard..my favorite player in my collection. Like an old baseball glove..just does everything great.
The best thing about GMW/Empires?
Resale value sucks! I paid $1100.00 for this! Nice to get a $3200 guitar in mint condition for $1100.00! And that
was 18 months ago. IMO like Carvin, GMWs are the best "Bang for the buck" in a used guitar.
IMO this Empire is better made than my CS Charvel !
Purchased this...(traded for it) ...wonderful Empire #7 from a Jemsite brutha... This one is amazing in person!
