I remember my Kramer's Floyd floated by not all that much. It was enough to pull back and to do really wide vibrato. Couldn't tell you how many half steps, though.

When I finally set it up right, I shimmed the neck and then I had plenty of float to pull back.

They actually DO offer a larger angle, for a tune-o-matic/stop tailpiece setup and some other bridges.

Probably if you called them you could MAYBE get them to do the bridge route as a Floyd and the neck pocket as the tune-o-matic, but, from what my buddy went through with them, I'd guess that getting them to do anything that's not "off the menu" would be like pulling teeth.

Probably better off taking it to a local luthier with a jig to do the angled pocket or something, if you can.

And, they don't actually specify what the angles are anywhere I can see, so I don't know how big the "big" angle is. :dunno:

Hmmm...I'm tempted to get that scalloped neck I've been thinking about.
