I think im a Kramer Fan

So in the past few months I really bonded with my f1000. Really shyed away from some of my jacksons.

So in honor of that in the past 3 weeks I have snagged.

Mike Learn Baretta
Kramer Savant II (225)
Kramer Metalist III (350)
Kramer Pacer deluxe *didnt bond with this one so its on the bay...Cheap
and for good measure
A Charvel model 88 (275)
Also finished my custom dinky HX and Charvie Model 4

To fund all this I have unloaded
Charvel model 1a
kramer focus custom body
ESP Horizon NTII
Dean Cadillac
and one of my wolfgangs (not the one I just snagged)


Also now liqudating my Dean Razorback, San Dimas 3 tite, and a few other beaters. I want to fund a Sambora and a Nightswan.

I think I have gone to the dark side.

I still have a handful of Jacksons and Charvies but for some reason I am just really bonding with the kramer axes.

Anyone know the cure other than more of each?

You'll probably regret selling the Horizon.
As for the Kramers, I understand. My Parker Fly Deluxe is rendering all my other guitars to also rans at the moment.

I wouldn't mind a Pacer Imperial at some point.

Ya know the Horizon just was uninspiring. I ordered if offline and it just was a dud compared to the ones I have jammed on in stores. Seemed tonally dead. There was just nothing that made me really excited to play it. I think I just have a thing for older axes, most the new stuff just doesnt do it for me.

The Kramer strat style body looks funny to me, asymetrical. Too much of a body cut. Other than that, I see no issues.

I see a lot of old Kramer arch top neck thrus that look exactly like an ESP Horizon, so I'm guessing they were all built together?

Since Gibson bought them, they just haven't promoted the brand.
I think they killed the NS reissues and the 1985's.

The archie Kramers I were designed first I believe, but it took them awhile for it to come out, and in the time it took them to finally get it on the street, ESP had brought out the Horizon :ROTF:

I used to be a big Kramer fan, IMHO, those Pointy necks were the king looks wise of all pointy necks, especially the reverse claws.

BUT, I'm yet to play a Kramer that really feels like home to me, Jackson has that spot.
