Mean Street Guitars

Hey All,

I am looking for an Original Kramer Barretta or an 85 Reissue. Since, I cant find one, I am seriously considering picking up one of these guitars to add to the collection. I am most interested in the "Unchained" model.

I was curious if anyone had an experience with this builder or these guitars?

Never played one of the meanstreet guitars. Have felt his necks and they are nice. Mitch is a great guy and is a HUGE EVH fan. I talked to him when EVH and his lawyers were sending out all of the "Cease and Desist" letters. Mitch would have gone to court just to lose - if it meant he would meet EVH. The lawyers told him EVH would most likely not be there. Great guy and does great paint jobs.

I thought there was a post not long ago about these. I was considering one too but can't swing it yet. They seem like a lot of guitar for the money.

But, so far I've only seen them on the Ikebe Gakki website.
So, It may be a Ikebe exclusive.
unfortunately, Ikebe won't ship Edwards internationally.
Ishibashi and Kurosawa do.
But, you'd have to email them to see if they can get one.

ESP might want to be carefull. Eddie might trademark that name - not "the Jerk" but Edward(s).

I like that Edwards. I do not like the transition in the nut area on the Meanstreet.
