What is your favourite "Traditional" (pre-Super strat) type of guitar?

it's a toss up between a strat and a tele. both are exceptional guitars and have their plusses, BUT if i could only have one, i think i'd pick the tele. it is amazingly versatile and plays effortlessly.GEAR:
some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!
some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!
and finally....
i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!! -
I'd like to ask why that list includes the LP, SG, Flying V but not the Explorer

I voted other because I like the strat shape, only with neckthrough construction and dual humbuckers.

Traditional to the early 1980's. If you mean only 50's-70's guitars then I'd probably have to pick a strat. At least you can still drop a humbucker in one.GTWGITS! - RacerXComment

I don't know if I answered correctly, but I dig my semi-hollows...doesn't matter the actual shape...strat, tele, LP, dominion, etc.Comment
