Great looking guitars there Sully, What bearing and bit combo are you using with that plexi. Are you using stew mac's? I had some issues with that combo until I got my pin router.

I'm using stewmac templates with a 1/2 bit for most of the work, then I finish it up with the 3/8 bit.

What I did over the weekend...

So, I posted this before, finally got a few better pics and wanted to show off what I did over the weekend... Kinda silly, really but I dunno, I had fun doing it.





If this is too subtle... These parts were originally chrome-plated brass. I was interested enough in having a natural brass knob, string retainer, and output jack to sand the plating off.

Just finishing this one up...waiting for delivery of a new neck pickup before I finish wiring it up. Bought the body and neck from Mike Learn here in the classifieds. Mahogany back with a maple cap, recessed Floyd, H/S pickups.

the maple top was a bit weak, so Mike added the tiger striping



the back and sides are a cool lime with green and blue flake

Charvel Style/Warmoth Strat



Here is one project guitar that is almost complete. Gotta make sure the wiring is ok before I string it. Warmoth neck, 92 MIM Strat body, Greasy Groove pickguard and ToneZone. Wanted a vintage trem Charvel and figured this was cheaper.





Still got more work to go but its almost finished (finger prints galore in the picture).

This Peavey Destiny had a partially missing headstock, frets worn down so badly that they were almost level with the fretboard in spots, and the body was very badly beaten up.

This is a guitar I'm in the middle of building. It's my take on a Lado Lazer.

Another guitar I'm building. I suppose it's part Mockingbird, part Warlock, part Stealth.

This started out as an SX GG2. It was ugly, so I stripped it, reshaped it, shaved down the neck, and painted it. I just have to finish the new inlays and frets.




A Strat I built from parts.

A KV-1 that was beat to hell and badly refinished. I didn't paint this myself though. I layed out the graphic, and had Freddy Gabrsek do the paint.
