          The Story of my KV:

          And my B.C Rich:

First time I got him he was painted white in some horrible way and I knew I had to do something. When I sanded him down I saw that originally he was a crappy Bronze series model that had this horrible bones and skull tattoo... So after seeing some Poison videos...

          And after seeing Max Cavalera:

Everything is new about him, new neck, pickup, bridge, tuners, hardware and ofc the paint job.

Got a few others that I dont care for talking about....
          SACRILEGE

Guitars: Jackson King V, Jackson Kelly, Jackson DXMG, Jackson DK2M, Squier Stratocaster MIJ '85 and B.C Rich Whitelock
Amps: Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier, Marshall Valvestate 8100 and Peavey Windsor halfstacks.

Thanks man I was up in the air which neck to use with the body when I got it from you.The body has the std Fender neck pocket so The NOS Kramer neck socked right in there tightly so that what I went with.
Kudos to Best-decals for dipping into his stash and sending me his last period correct Kramer logo. Thanks to RSguitarworks again they matched the amber clear perfectly.
Its a great player too. Thanks for the great deal I appreciate it.Chandler made some great stuff back in the 80's.

                that guitar is SICK!

What does it usally cost to get a body painted a basic color and clearcoated/etc?

I'm really GASing for a build right now.

Is the fingerboard on that ebony or also black Koa?

(I like it even if the other guy wasn't talking about it.)

                              It's ebony with MOP inlays.

The neck is actually Korina, not Koa, but thanks! It was an experiment that turned out pretty good, good enough I decided to try another one.

Originally it was going to have all gold hardware but I decided to use the gold Floyd on my white Charvel (which got stolen) and so I did it all with chrome, which, since it was supposed to be kind of "80's" worked pretty well.

But after thinking about it and how I remember old-school Charvels having gold everything with a chrome Floyd, I decided to do that, since I had everything but the Floyd sitting there, since that was the original plan anyway.

The other kind of interesting thing I decided to try with this was, I ordered it with 61GD fret wire (it's gold-ish) which is very close to 6100 wire, super jumbo tall, but a little bit narrower. It is harder than normal fret wire, but not as hard as stainless steel.

I'm fairly heavy handed and it's been played a lot and there is NOT A MARK on any of the frets, not even little string scratches, but you can see where the STRINGS are getting worn from rubbing against the frets! I think it will be a long time before it needs a level & crown.

                                Here's my beloved "Stratbag".

'83 SQ series Squier neck. Ebay-sourced matching Squier 3-bolt body. Wilkinson bridge and pickups. Postman Pat red courtesy of a mate at a local bodyshop.
I resisted the temptation to slap a Fender decal on there because that's what seems to have happened to most of these, so "original" SQs are rarer and cooler!
