Yamaha fretless RGX bass

Found one at a pawn shop today and tried to do some reserch and came up with 0.
Pearl white RGX 800 FA.
Bolt on neck, fretless, active pickups.
Its a real nice lightweight bass with case.
If anyone has info on these let me know.
I can snag it for 200.00 is it worth it?
I have had some of the RGX series guitars and they are pretty good players for cheap money.

sounds cool, but I have no info to help you. If it's anything like the RGX guitars, it would have to be worth a couple of hundred

Well a buddy of mine bought it and I have it here for a set up.
Really great sounding bass too, very high quality nice fit and finish.
Active pick ups are really nice very full sounding.
Nice range of tones with the active pre-amp system nothing cheap about these basses at all.
Cool thing I noticed was where every screw goes there is a metal insert with threads pretty classy.

That's a nice looking one. I would have bought it in a heartbeat for $200.. I'm a sucker for white and I'd like to have a bass.

That's beautiful! I love Yamaha RGX and RGZs, and have an RBX 260 and a RBX460 as well. Even the 260 is nice and the 460 is really sweet, so I can only imagine how nice an 800 Series is! Good score for your buddy!
